Best/ Top Android App

This segment, I am going to list top 20 apps for Android phone (beta 2.1 or up).

1. Advanced Task Killer - This app is like a task manager for your Android phone. We, sometimes, run into a frozen situations where your phone just tents to go S~L~O~W for some damn reason. Main reason is because you have too many programs already running and open. Android does lack "Exit" button, so most of times, your programs are still running and don't forget that widgets are also an open app. So to gain that speed again, go to Advanced Task Killer and kill all the tasks. It does have a choice to select items that you want to close, so you don't need to kill the main program you are using.

2. ASTRO File Manager - The ultimate route or bridge that let you control files and folders without syncing your phone with your computer. ASTRO can often be use to play some files that normally wont play on some programs. This program truly makes program managing simple.

3. Ayal Music Download - Do you remember how easy it was to download music from Napster? Just search the artist, song title or album title to find the song and having it? Well if you like the simplicity of Napster but on your Android phone, this is the app for it. Wide range of selection and constantly music categories will let you have the MP3 file right on your phone.

4. Barcode Scanner: Pretty much describes itself. It reads barcode from diapers to pack of cigarette. It also let you compare the prices on the web, so you can find better price.



5. Bible: I am NOT a bible reader, but growing up in Christian family, Its always safe to have a Bible around you. So this is just for that purpose. However, it does have many versions of "Holy Bible"(weird) and it also has options to have different language. Also, let you set up reading reminder so you can finally finish the world's all - time best seller.

6. Call Recorder - Did you ever had those moments where you say "DAMN, I should've recorded that". Well, this application will record phone conversations so you can, later on, provide evidence, proof, or just reminisce. Pro: It records conversation.  Con: Phone calls needs to be on speaker because this app is basically like a voice recorder.

7. Catch - Big key about having an idea is not to forget about it. Catch is a cloud program that basically is a noting software that transfer files to Catch.com. It's simple and easy to use.





8. Jorte - Advanced calendar system that links to Google calendar.



9. Pandora - Sick and tire of old FM/AM radio station? Wants to hear the music or artist that you like? Pandora lets you customize your listening choice and  let you enjoy your style of music.



10. PF Voicemail - PF Voicemail is more than just a visual voicemail system; it is cloud storage system that let you listen to our most important messages, anywhere.



11. PhoneMyPC - Phones can not replace your main computer, or at least not right now. PhoneMyPc is a unique system that lets you control your main PC though your phone. Keep your PC in your pocket.

12. Adobe Photoshop - Sometimes, bad picture is not bad because the face you made, but the lighting, contrast, saturation, brightness, or maybe just a little touch up. Adobe Photoshop let's you do that. We, now use phone as our main camera, it's always a pain in the butt to sync it with your computer to do all these work. Do it quickly and simply by using Adobe Photoshop.

13. QuickOffice - This is what we have been wanting on our phones. Yeah, we wanted E Mail capability, video viewing, music listening, and reading newspapers, but this app lets you create documents and projects. It is just like Microsoft Office; just on your phone. It does not have the wide range of options like your PC would have, but it will get the job done. In students case, it could be a saver for "I did put the assignment in your inbox, Mrs. Blank".

14. ESPN Score Center - Live sports score, line ups, stats, and fixtures and results. All you can ask for from ESPN (Unless they start broadcasting all the sports games)


15. Shazam - Shazam will listen to the song you like but don't know the title of and tell you what and who the song is made by. Best tool for naming your favorite tune that you don't know the name too.

16. TV.com - CBS provided application that has wide range of shows. I often watch CSI to figure out the killer and CNEtT to catch up on new gadget news.


17. USA Today - The best newspaper that provides most interesting nation stories has app. Gotta love it.




18. VEVO - If you ever watched a music video on Youtube.com, you should heard of VEVO. VEVO basically is a music video central. This app has lot of music videos, ALOT.


19. QIK Video Chat - Long away from your boo and getting sick and tired of telling her you miss her face? Qik video chat her. This only works with phones with front facing camera, but it is a great program like Skype except Skype's app doesn't support it yet.

20. Weather Bug. - Weather bug, gently sits on top left side of the screen and tell you how the weather is. Simple and easy to use.
