Is your life an illusion?

Image
We love movies for what pretend situation they make us think about; you know the girl shouldn't go into that room and you know that person is being fooled by the opposite sex. These scenarios, we are all very aware of but in real life it's not really divided by the fine line. The question that I am trying to ask is; id your life an illusion? Do you create this imaginary world in your head and live it like it is? Like, you are the superstar, you are the best ball player in the world, or maybe you are a jersey shore cast members; are you living in these fictional worlds to make you feel more valuable? Life is what you make and life is how you live it. Margaret Wolfe Hungerford quotes in her book "Molly Bawn" that "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder", meaning it's the viewer who see the beauty within the other. Whatever you live your life is your choice, but do see the reality that inspires your fantasy.

We know the difference between good and bad. It is pretty cut and dry the way it is set and for someone not to understand the good and evil, we think that person is stupid. But where is the fine line that defines the difference between good and bad? Have we thought of the circumstances the person was in, or it is just wrong of the person for doing so? Have we not lied even once in our life and have we not submit to our urges and bow down to our temptations? My question is, Who is you to judge when only one person or figure is onto judges all of us.  I do not want you to think the bad on me when I say the next sentence. Even bad people are doing things because of their good reason and even good people will do things for bad reason. So you to point your fingers and judge another is not in your places to do so. What was the circumstance, why did it happen, what made the person do the things you call "Bad/ Wrong"? No one is perfect and  it's not a perfect world we live in. I

Special: Valentine's Day post

Image
Awww, heart shaped greeting cards, chocolates taste from dark to light, and numerous flower to describes someone's significant reason; Valentine's day is truly the day to show your love one that you care for them. The day originally came from the idea of courtly love during high middle age, it's the day to express our erotic desire for one and another. As if Aphrodite cast a spell on us, on February 14, we become love thirsty and most of us we already have the heart the cupid already pierced through with their love arrows. So here is a poem, just in case... **** I think that i might fly away, in my hot air balloon, and hide from worldly worries on the dark side of the moon; There's but one thing I need before I float into the blue: I need a sky companion and I want it to be you. We'll fly beyond the storm clouds and we'll watch from up above, I'll cover you in rainbows as we feel each others' love;  You'll shower in the stars at midnight in our spe

Congratulation/ Chook Ha Heh (Drunken Tiger Song Translated)

If many of you do not know, I am a Korean immigrant. I have my love for Korean culture and it's main stream media from TV shows to music. But I always been a Hip Hop head and being Korean and Hip Hop head, you got to love Drunken Tiger. In their album "Feel gHood Muzik", there is song call "Congratualtion/ Chook Ha heh" which the Drunken Tiger (Or Tiger JK/ Drunken Tiger started out with two people but one ended up leaving in 2004) wrote a song about his new born baby name "Oo-zoo(means "Space" in Korean). The message I am trying to deliver before I translate the song is that, even though many of us speak different languages in this world, we experience and feel same way about most common life situations. We feel sad when we lose someone, we feel glorious when we are acknowledged for achievement, we feel angry when there is difference between one and other. Well, here you go. If you are reading this, thank you for trying to understand what goes

Domestic Violence: It's not Physical, It's Mental

Image
We hear it, we sometimes joke about it; but when it happens to the close ones, we want to retaliate and give that person their own medicine. Domestic Violence; it is no joke, it happens just around the corner to people you may know. It might be your neighbor screaming for their mercy and hope to god it stops before it kills him/ her. But when it happens, it is not a beautiful sight. I seen it happen to many people, see them coming into my business with bruised eyes, broken noise, open lips, physical scar they are ashamed to show the world because those wounds screams out the pain and the reason why place she/ he calls home not a safe place. But domestic violence is not just physical scars that is left, it's also a mental scar. Knowing that feeling of pain chilling your bone and if you think that pain will be forgotten or getting use to; every new bruises sets new standards. Domestic Violence takes piece of mind that alarming the person, this can happen when the other is not in a go
