Soldier's war

Image
War: Noun: a conflict carried on by force of arms, as between nations or between parties within the nation; warfare, as by land, sea, or air. There is nothing good about war and there is nothing you gain from war, unless you are profiting and forcing the smaller nation to "share" their resources. But really, you lose so much more than what you gain. Back in the days, war had a meaning, the reason to fight between nations. Civil war; for the right to free the slaves, Revolution war; to be independent from British, World War I & II; for the freedom of all mankind, and even war between Troy and Sparta; fight for right to love the one, all the wars has a meaning that is not just for gaining a profit(Unless you are Agamemnon), it should have more meaning for it. What is the reason of Afghan war? What is for Iraq? Who are we to tell the other nation how to create their society and what structure their governing system should be like?  To me, now days, wars are started by big f

The Mentalist

Image
Mentalist [Men-tl-ist]: A person who believes that the mind and it's functions are alegitimate area of psychological research. But I'm not talking about the occupation and it's duties, I'm talking about "The Mentalist" TV show. If you love mystery and crime story like I do, then you would love this show. It's not like CSI where science is answer to the key but more of detective work that comes with the work. It's almost like watching Colombo with little humor added to it. Let's get into details, shall we? Written by Bruno Heller, show's main story is about the man name Patrick Jane(Played by Simon Baker) who use to be a well known physic who becomes consultant for California Bureau of Investigation team working with team leader Teresa Lisbon(Robin Tunney), stone faced investigator Kibble Cho (Tim Kang), kind but disturbed bomber expert Wayne Rigsby (Owain Yeoman), and hot, immature rookie Grace Van Pelt (Amanda Righetti). He gave up his work o

I do not feel bad for the Homeless...

Image
Im pretty sure that title is pretty explanatory by itself. Why should I? Do I owe them something? Of course, I do feel bad for the unfortunate ones but being homeless is not the case. I feel bad for people who grew up no food, no parents, something they couldn't do to change, that's the people I feel sorry for. If you are in age 18 - 50 and you have both arms and legs, what are you complaining about? What, the man is keeping you down? You can't get a job because your record? You have psychological problem that makes you disable and can't work? Let me tell you something, I don't like you like fat people who has handicap parking permit. Sad thing is these spoil guineas thinks that everything is someone else s fault. You want to blame someone? Blame your parents who didn't beat the living shit out of you to teach you lessons. Because people like you don't know the meaning of hard work, you might as well stand in middle of Time Square and hope a cabby to hit you

5 Things you need in Seattle

Image
Emerald City or also known as Evergreen State; Washington state has been known as the Northwest and we are mostly related to the fact that it rains allot in the state, which is true. About 8 months out of 12, it will most likely rain but the thing is that we don't mind it. Actually, we are proud of the fact that it rains. Why? because there is no place beautiful like Seattle during the summer. We sacrifice 8 months under the grey clouded sky that has great chance of raining, when summer come, we enjoy every minute of it and we actually know how to appreciate summer sun. But we can never hide away from the fact that....well....it rains lot in Seattle and it does get chilly and it does get wet. But we are use to it. We are like British in Seattle, if you have an umbrella, you are most likely a tourist where Seattlites or Washingtonians are most likely enjoying the rain in their hoodie with headphones in their ear, listening to Nirvana's "Smells like teen spirit".  But,

Reckless Driving

Image
What are some traits that defines "Reckless driving"? Angry driver, all over the place, not caring for traffic signs, danger-ring  others' lives, pushing the limits and hoping someone stops them before things gets worse....well, I feel that I am driving my life recklessly. So many changes and so many things that will never be the same; feel that things are meant to be tested. Thou shall not tempt the god, but I'm testing my luck to see how far I could push it till something awful happens. Do I feel right about doing this? I don't know how to feel at this point. I am out there like as if the world was going to end tomorrow and I am leaving no feelings behind. As if alcohol is my pain killer and substances are the balance, but it's only hurting my chances of being lucky. I have lost my self in this situation and I am only digging the grave deeper when I act like this and I know my friends hate to see me the way I am. They often asked "What are you going t

Scarf

I am not your main source of warmness. You surely won't look for me during summer or even any other season except winter. I'm not a jacket; I don't have pockets or I wrap over your body to keep you warm. You might think of me when you have a horrible weather. You might have a beanie over your head before you think of putting me on. But that's fine, as long as I can wrap around your neck and make you feel warm. I don't have to be number 1 or number 2, as long as I can make you feel warm, that's all it matters to me.

It was 8th grade that I moved to Redmond from Lynnwood. I didn't no anyone but people were nice to greet a foreign kid who still had an accent and weird style. I started to hang around Anthony and one day, I met you with Chris in a weird situation. But you were still funny, you were still gorgeous and you were great person to hang around. Ever since that we all became the 107 st./ block crew. Me with Omar, Phil, Ron, Anthony, and Chris, you with Ashley, Michaela, Moss, Stacy, Rachel; we were friends that were closer than just friends. We formed a family that we promised to be there when others needed help, motivation and support. I remember in 9th grade, I went to your house with Curtis and I think Ron and I remember the look you gave me and later on Curtis told me you liked how I looked . That maybe be take 254 at 9 PM to go back up the education hill to ask you out to be my girl. We dated 1 week but I still remember how me, you, Ron and Ash all walking around Redmond near Junio

Economy awakes patriotism

Image
Money, finance, economy, Wall St., stock, gas, oil; these are probably the main headlines we see on our daily newspaper, lately. We as an Americans hate to admit so, but we understand that the country is in debt for lot of money. How do we know that? Our daily routine has been affected by it. Grocery got little more pricey, gas is almost $4 per gallon, everything seems to take the price to higher level just a notch for us to get by but be hurt for it. Occupy Wall St. movement is growing stronger and their actions has been loudly putting second thoughts to our daily cycled mind. At this point, you are almost in a need to choose a side; one who enforce the idea and ones who try to revolutionize the country for the people. But some reason, more shits the country gets, patriotic the people are getting. Let's face it; we owe other countries lot of money and we know the Fort Knox is just a place with empty cells with trace that was left behind by the great history this country had. We

5 things that adults need that you do not think of when you are kid.

Image
Life of adulthood is nothing less than stressful life of chasing materials, fame, fortune, and trying to beloved by all of people in opposite sex(same sex in some cases). So adults need that certain things to get by daily.  1. Newspaper - I use to think "Why does people watch news and read news paper? What, they don't have enough thrill in their life that they need to read others miss fortune?" Well, now I do understand the importance of it. One of the main reason is to stay connected with people. You don't want to sound like a dummy who doesn't know anything, do you? Second, find out how much more money you need to give to the government. It's sad, but we need it. 2. Coffee - Oh god. How did I ever go a day without having a coffee? Oh right, I was young. Now, it feels like I don't ever have enough sleep. Coffee is a life saver. 3. Cell Phone - Purpose of cell phone is have ability to receive or make calls all the time.....little did you know, you proba

It's ok to be top shit, just don't act like you are top shit. 11) to woman who does not know Frank Sinatra(this one might be bendable) 12) to woman who does not understand that Ill be back. If she trips about me going out with my friends, than Im sorry you jealous crazy B#!ch. 13) to woman who does not appreciate art. 14) to woman who does not have class 15) to woman who is addicted to anything 16) to woman who my friends does not approve of. 17) to wo

Earth: Devil's playground

Image
Earth; the place of where mankind was created and only planet in our milky way galaxy that contains some sort of life forms. But Earth means more on the inside rather than a blue and green colored planet that is view from the space. Within that macro perspective, there are micro perspectives that contains perspective all the way down to yourself and the world that dwells around you. Earth or mankind's history shows few main keys of living; Wealth, Religion, Knowledge, and Reproduction. These are the main keys that motivate our daily life and we fight to gain more of it. However, the place we call earth seems to become place of sin and evil. In the Bible, mankind are stuck between "Holy God" and "Fallen Angel"; or you might want to call it the oldest story line in the book, Good versus Evil. Of course, I believe most of mankind do things for the righteous reasons but that righteous reason might be a wrong reason if you asked the victims and their love ones. But

10 tips to exercise

Image
Being in shape is like a "thing" now days; It shows determination, passion, and........you look good like some Greek statues. But in our modern time, it's easier said than done. I mean who has time to work out after a long day of work? How do you want me to deny this great fast food with so much grease and fat in it? How do you want me to work out when is raining outside? Well, doesn't that sound like some excuses. Trust me people, it's more mental than physical, when you exercise. And the way you look is only for you to blame or praise. It's really depends on how much time and sweat you put in it and if you think sitting in front of your TV, while eating large pizza with some hot wings on the side and Coca Cola, and pass out after you eat cause you are so full...well can you really blame yourself for not looking like people who exercise 5 times a week? I say this because I been there, eating a Big Mac with large french fries and drink and watch TV and pass ou

Friendship is golden

Image
Friends; you love them, you hate them, you can or sometimes you just can't stand them; but we all know we want them around us when we need them. But have you ever to think or consider that were you there when they needed you? Are you a friend, your friends count on or just drink with? I would think that my friends can count on me during the crunch time, hard time when they really need someone next to them. Of course, I have friends who I only speak to and share drinks with, but my few selected from thousands, I would take a bullet for. I grew up moving around a lot and having a steady long term friends was hard. Some might have never left their old neighborhood so they are stuck with their friends for rest of their lives, but some people like myself to have a steady friend is hard and I take blessing of having friends. Anyone who I really consider a friend, I would do my best to help them the best I can and I will not back stabbed them for no reason. But relationship is 2 person

Occupy WALL St. Movement

Image
99% and in this case bitch is probably not one of them for Occupy Wall St. Movement. These people are protesting in front of main corporate that are known to be leading problem of US economy and they hope to make an impact and change the wrongs. From New York to Los Angeles, these people are gathering up to make their voice heard but what would really change after a small portion of inner city residents raise their signs? But we know that main point is for these fat cats to help the economy and go back to the idea of democracy where the idea was once read "For the people, by the people". If you are U.S citizen, I do not have to tell you what we have been through, economically for last decade. We are still trying to stand up but still panicking when Nasdaq drops under 11,0000. Our schools are getting closed, transportation system is being cut down, and more casinos and shopping malls are opening up; what are we focusing on as a nation? I'm never against idea of consumeri

Some say love is cursed by monogamy

Image
Marriage: one of the main responsibility as a mankind to marry and reproduce to create a family. However, birthing originally was a punishment to women because Eve tempted Adam to eat the forbidden fruit. But, maybe this is one of the punishment that also give gift to people. However, what about the marriage? To tie the knot and bring two family into one to create a new family within two people. This is the "normal" plan for a person to follow but isn't plans suppose to change? Because life isn't something you can plan and follow, life will throw you a curve ball so you gotta go with the flow. I mean you aren't suppose to divorce but these days it's more common than having an abortion.  But why did they get married if they were gonna divorce? Why didn't they just date rather than marry? Maybe they just grew apart, maybe they made a mistake, maybe it was one night in Vegas, maybe they never loved each other, maybe they got married too soon, maybe they got m

10 things I would tell myself if I can go in to time

Image
Time travelling; final destination for a human kind. We talk about it, and we hope one day, we can actually do it. But what people don't realize is time is given people, in reality, there is no 24 hours in a day, it's non stopping train that keep going and going and going. By saying that, I'm trying to explain that time travelling is not possible, i mean at least in my life time it ain't because if it did happen, don't you think you already visited yourself? But let's pretend if we have one chance to go back to the past and tell yourself something something; what would you it be? This is my 10 things I will tell my past self from 7th to 12th grade. 1. Don't Smoke Cigarettes: Trust me people, even though I am a smoker, I hate smoking. Because now I know the affects of it and what it can really do to my body. But quitting is harder than starting and it almost drove me nuts when I tried to go cold turkey. So if I can tell 8th grade Paul, I'll tell him &qu

Don't judge a person by the drug they use

Image
Drug users are constantly getting bashed. I am not saying there aren't crazy drug users out there like crack heads, heroin addicts.........well I guess addicts are really the problem. But you shouldn't judge a person by the drug they use, I mean, after all we are all drug users. You get a headache and you take Tylenol, when you have cold you take NyQuil, When you are worried when it's flu season you take flu shots, when your have pain you take Vicodin, when you have problem getting it up you take Viagra, and when you don't want to get pregnant you use Birth Control. We all use drugs in one way or another to manage our life style. But when we see Marijuana smokers, we flip shit like they are the worst people in the world and sinners by church. Last time, I heard people normally just get stuck on couch and eat lot of food? But addicts are the problem. It's the people who has no will or mental strength to control their usage. I mean if person is addicted to Viagra, tha

R.I.P Steve Jobs

Image
You probably heard the news. Around 5PM of October 5, 2011; people were starting to post on their Social Network sites. Steve Jobs has passed away. Now, I am an Android head but this is bigger than that. Steve Jobs was, indeed, one of the greatest and brilliant human being ever lived on this planet. He's innovative thinking and his ability to reach the new level has changed this world. I really do not want to get into deep with his bio or his success but I just want to thank him for all he done for this world and let him know that he will be missed. You were one of the greatest person ever lived on this earth. REST IN PEACE STEVE JOBS

iPhone 4(G)S

Image
APPLE LOVERS, YOUR LONG AWAITED PRODUCT IS FINALLY HERE. IT'S iPhone 5.........oh wait, what? it's not? what the hell is it then? what? iPhone 4S? WTF is iPhone 4S? Ok, well let me start it over. APPLE LOVERS, YOUR LONG AWAITED PRODUCT IS FINALLY HERE. IT'S iPhone 4S(whatever that is). Well on October 4 of 2011, Apple announced their new product of iPhone. Many people expected to see or hear about iPhone 5, but instead they announced iPhone 4S or more properly iPhone 4G S. I know, it's like "What? What the hell is this? Where is iPhone 5"? but Apple had to do a little catch up before they can move forward with the iPhone 5. So in mean time, call this the "Transition" iPhone. Now, we clearly see that they added "S" at the end of product name, but what else is new about this product? Well, let's get to it. Shall we? First, S DOES NOT stand for Slim cause there is nothing slim about this phone. Actually the S stands for Siri, which is a n

iPhone 5

Image
We are all waiting for it, we are all thinking of it, and we are all sick and tired of looking at  iPhone 4 that have the look of Altoids case. WE ARE READY FOR iPhone 5!!!! Well many seeks to find the info and many leaks the info and looking for that release day which is October 4th. However, we are all excited about it and it will be another long night standing in the line to be first of many to brag about the new Apple gadget. But what are some new added features and what have they improved? Am I going to enjoy it much as I did on iPhone 4? Well I hope this blog shine some hopeful light for you. First and probably the one of the biggest update all iPhone users been waiting for....4G. While you might have to iPhone, all the android people are rubbing in your face about their 4G and how fast it is compare to 3G. Now we aren't sure if they will have 4G because it requires lot of battery power and what we heard, iPhone 5 is thinner than iPhone 4 so.....we have to wait and see on t

Album to Check Out: Fabolous - Soul Tape

Image
From Watch the Throne to Carter IV , our ear drum has been almost on a preset to hear these rappers voice and rap along like kids who are pledging. I am not going to lie and tell you those two albums are horrible cause I do like both of albums, but the media sense of it kinda killed it for me that I rather hear something unique and more original. Kinda like you are sick of drinking Coke so you try drinking water with cucumber and you kinda like it and later on you will be in love with it. Well that is exactly how I feel when I listen to Fabolous's mix tape: Soul Tape (2011). It's almost the same reason why I love Jay-Z's Blueprint 3, more sophisticated rather than just some random gibberish  these new rappers talking about. Fabolous has always been one of the rappers who is great with metaphors and word plays, but I do think that on this mix tape, he took it to another level with the word plays. Also, I LOVE the jazzy instruments/ beats he chose for this album. It puts th

DON'T GO TO: Amante Pasta & Pizza: Lynnwood, WA

Image
I learned a valuable lesson yesterday; order things that is included in the name of restaurant. Maybe it was because it was almost closing time, maybe it was because cook was hung over, but Amante Pasta & Pizza in Lynnwood, WA WAS THE WORST ITALIAN FOOD I EVER HAD. I never seen this place in it's hey day but it was nothing "Hey" about my visit, yesterday. I'm bout to go Gordon Ramsey on their ass on this blog. Don't get me wrong and think I'm all cold heart-ed; the exterior was nice. They try to capture the European style look of the building with big sign that displays the name and it's specialty. The entrance is beautiful and inside is.....well it got what you need. But if i could say one word to describe inside, it will be "Cluster". The place is itself is designed beautifully but the way it is setup disappoint me big time. It almost give you the feeling of elementary cafeteria; lot of tables and shitty food.  But place might be a fun pla

10 ways to cut cost

Image
Let's be serious, we are in serious economical disaster. Not in personal ways but nationally, we are pretty screwed so individuals are taking the hit for it. Well here, im gonna give you 10 tips to cut cost. 1) Don't drive: Now that sounds little dramatic but maybe you can drive less. Gas is probably one of the most costly thing we are paying daily basis and it's not like we can tell the gas company to lower the price. Even if we could, they ain't gonna do it. Do drive to work, school, wherever you NEED to be but maybe you can walk to stores and bike to places. Maybe stay home and have fun with your family. Just drive less, don't hope for Gas price to go down; just drive less. 2) Turn off the light: It's simple, turn off the light if you don't need it. When we first moved into the new place, our first 2 month electric bill came out to be $350. I know you think it's ridiculous but we had normal things on like our TV, PC, lights, and Xbox. After that mis

Special: 10th anniversary of 9/11

Image
Who can really forget the day? I remember it as it happened during this year but to think that it already been 10 years since the tragic event of 9/11 happened is abnormal. Lot of things had changed since the towers were fallen down and innocent people lost their lives in pentagon. That day, I woke to get ready for school like any other day, but when  I got to school, that's when I saw the planes hitting the World Trade Center. It felt like I was watching a Hollywood movies; I just couldn't believe what I saw was actually happening. Friends and teachers were gathered around TV in the classroom and gasping as it was happening. Some crying with their heads down, some covering their mouth to stop the gasping, some look with expression of shock, some just couldn't bare the fact and headed home to be with their family. It hurts me to even remember the day when I was watching through the TV, but how would it felt to lose their love ones in that tragedy? I can't even bare that

This apps are selected by the writer on September 2011.      1. aDownloder - Having hard time finding a song or movie on your phone? Facebook/ Social Network Rituals

Image
If you asked in 2005, the concept of "Social Networking" would have never settled with me like breakfast burrito from McDonald's. Too many questions, too many variables...But now we are on  Facebook like reading a daily news paper over and over. Seeing, who is saying what and what is said by who. Also, leaving trace of your past, present, and future like we are documenting every move that we have made. This cyber-ly  generated, self centered world has it's pros and cons like everything else but this blog is not about that; it's about rituals Social Net-workers have developed over few years. Nothing serious, just some giggles and laughs. So let's start, shall we? 1) Search by any means necessary: When we first sign up for social networking sites, 1 thing we surely would do is search for friends who are already on it. Yeah, there is simple way where you can search by putting the name in the search box to find that person. if you have "mutual" friends

Love is...

Image
Love: word that has been around generations after generations. It might be the most simplest thing but hardest to earn. Love is not "Like"; most people would "like" but rarely love. Some mistake "Like" and regret to say love at the end. Some love but fail to like. Love; you can never control, love is something you have to mold. Love is given, and love sometimes means giving it away. To really love, you gotta know how to love. It's experience and journey that could lead you to heaven or hell. But till you get to the end, you can only enjoy the ride. To love, you gotta be shattered into pieces. And that real love will come around and glue back those pieces together. To love, you gotta have faith because love is blind. Love is pain, sometimes you gotta give up the most precious thing in the world to love. Love is not for you, love is for the other. Love is not without, but within. Love is not lost, but found. What is your definition of love?
