Hidden spots Tourist do not know around Pudget Sound

Seattle, WA; place known to many as place that rains lot or place where they have Space Needle and....yeah, that pretty much covers everything about Seattle..WRONG!!! Seattle has so much to offer. I lived in many places and I traveled all through the nation and I can surely tell you that there really isn't lot of place like the great NW. We have trees, rain, country side, industrial side, wine country, and so many to offer just than Space Needle, Pike Place Market, EMP, and Mt. Rainier. Here are 10 hidden Seattle(Puget sound area).

1. Kerry Park: This is somewhat of a hidden park that is on top of Queen Anne avenue. I do not know the actual name of the park, so I just call it "Queen Anne Park". It's not really much of park; it doesn't have an open field so you can run around, but one thing this place has is a view. It over looks the whole Seattle, WA from Space needles to stadiums, this place is definitely a place to check out if you visit Seattle. Great for photo shoot of Seattle.
211 West Highland Drive, Seattle, WA

2. Edmond pier: Thing about Edmond is that, people do not seem to know well about the pier part of Edmonds. People are aware of ferries but than again, how often do we take ferries unless you have to in daily basis. But it's not about the ferries, this small town pier neighborhood is great for walking around. It almost feels like you are in different country with so many small neighborhood stores and that specific location is untainted by the big corporations, so you can definitely enjoy the town without any rush. Got a small beach, yacht clubs, book store, bakers, and antiques. Oh, did I mention, Rick Steve(The travel guide person) lives in Edmonds and he has a store out there you can visit.
101 Main Street, Edmonds, WA

3. Alaskan way: Seattle's pier is probably want of the most commercialize but in  it's best way of collaborating with nature. Hotels, restaurants and Olympic Sculpture park for all your relaxed waterfront activities can be enjoyed. Just few blocks from Pike Place Market, it is definitely a jewel of Seattle
Pier 69 Seattle, WA(Follow Broadway down to West)

4. Kirkland waterfront: Doesn't matter what age you are, Kirkland waterfront can be enjoyed by so many people. It has walk ways you can surely enjoy, beach volley ball areas where all the "Abercrombie & Fitch" can hang out, and big waterfront so whole family can hang out. Definitely a place to visit.
150 Lake Street South, Kirkland, WA

5. Bellevue Downtown: Known as little Seattle; I do believe if you can pick a 2nd city to represent Washington, it will be Bellevue. The place is filled with tall buildings that forms a beautiful skyline of eastside with some of the major HQ for such companies like Expedia, Microsoft and other cyber business. The city is high classed so it also has store for riches like Neiman Marcus and Bellevue Square mall that has name brands such as Hugo, Michael Kors, Burberry, an etc. Night life in Bellevue is most definitely recognize with places like Lucky Strike Bowling, Parlors comedy club, Zoey's Ruth Chris steak house, Blue Martini to Sky Lounge, as long as you know where and when to go, you will be fine.
575 Bellevue Square, Bellevue, WA

6. Gum Wall: Even some of the long time residents of Seattle are unaware of this thing call Gum Wall. It is located behind "Il Bistro" restaurant in Pike Place Market. You will be disgusted but amazed.
Post Alley, Seattle, WA(Pike Place Market)

7. Troll under the bridge: Fremont Troll; this giant sculpture is definitely a scene to see. This large troll hides under a bridge and it holds its ground. Check it out.
3405 Troll Avenue North, Seattle, WA

8. Gas works Park: It looks like a scene from "Water worlds" but it a nice place to visit during sunny day and enjoy the Puget sound.
2101 North Northlake Way, Seattle, WA

9. Lake Sammmamish State Park: You can barbecue, you can have a party, you can drink, you can swim, you can kayak, you can scuba dive, it is one of the nicest state park WA can offer. I do advise that they do charge but if you are going, go with the family, large size of family and just have a family barbecue day.
2000 Northwest Lake Sammamish Road, Issaquah Plateau, WA

10. Bain Bridge Island: You gotta take ferry for this but do it. It is one of the places in Seattle where corporation is not welcome and every income they received is for the community. It is a small but neat island with class of it's own. It's not crazy place to visit but more relaxed, window shopping kind of place.

I know there are way more places than I listed but these are some good starting points. Enjoy :)
