Cut the Cable

Im sure wise people already made this choice and walked away from the cable companies and went straight to the digital streaming service and if you have not, do it, you ain't got nothing to lose.

My biggest thing from cutting cable is local news and sports. Most of the streaming site such as first row sports, shows many links and it will work......with millions of pop ups and ads that, one point, you just want to give up. You also know that the usual streaming apps or websites doesn't carry live channels but these days are over. I have been cut from cable for roughly 4 years and when I first did it, it was hard because the live sports games. Missing NBA playoffs, Super Bowl, and World Series were among the programs I missed about cable, so I would have to either go to my friends or go to bar to catch these games. But I had Netflix, Hulu, and of course, YouTube to keep me busy.
Limiting my viewing experience, I had to do something to get my life feed and got sick of telling people that I saw the highlights....a day after.

Now, rather me going on and on about what my experience has been, here are things you can do to completely cut away from cable.

First is to know what you watch and really evaluate the need of cable. If you are just in to watch movies, Netflix and Hulu should be fine, or occasionally just download or rent the movie through itune or Google Play store, or Redbox is not a bad choice either.

Now, lets say you are just like me; miss sports, live news and occasional TV shows.

Now lets say you do not have internet at home.

Get yourself a Antenna.

Antennas are great at picking air waves to get local channels from usual 3-13 experience. You will get your local news and local team games and it works great, until the weather becomes shitty. But for $15, I think it is a great buy.

Option1) Winegard HDTV Antenna

Now, if you do have internet at home, you should have more choices.

I recently got Playstation vue. Now, my plan is about $40 a month, with yearly Playstation membership for $70. Now., you think that's alot and you would feel better just going with your cable company.

I don't know about you but I hate comcast. I hate comcast with passion and I do not ever want to deal with comcast as much as I can.

I can watch playstation vue on my tv, stream it online or watch it on my phone and it is a great live tv on your phone.

So people, it's time to cut your cable.
