Stop Police Brutality Against Pets

On July 9th 2011 in  Renton,WA during a search for a wanted relative of her owner, Hazel Watkins-Park, a 1 year old red nose pitbull was detained by animal control on a choke noose as she barked and growled to protect her family. Any dog owner, being it a Pomeranian or a Lab will tell you if your door is kicked in and strange people come in with high, angry energy, your dog WILL bark and it WILL protect it's family. Well apparently the begging and pleading from Hazel's owners to let them put her in her kennel or another room wasn't enough for the Renton Police Department. While Hazel was still being detained in the already cruel noose, they shot her 7 times with a rifle. How is it that the police can come into YOUR house and shoot your pet??? She was doing what any animal would have done and we all can guarantee she was discriminated against for being a pitbull. Yes they have bad wraps, and yes they can be aggressive. But Hazel didn't have either of these things. She never hurt anyone. Never bit anyone and was simply a victim of police brutality. My question is, if a person were detained and yelling, would you have shot them too? How can a human, so trigger happy that they shot a restrained animalSEVEN TIMES, obviously NOT thinking of the situation logically, be allowed to get away with this?? Well guess what, they won't..

Please sign this petition to help Hazel's voice be heard. She tried to protect her family and was killed for it. Well we won't stop at protecting you Hazel. And others like you who could too face the same fate.When we reach our goal of 1,000 signatures, we will not only send this to the Mayor and Police Department of Renton, but also to the ASPCA, which fights for animal rights to hopefully enact a law to change how police deal with domestic pets involved in law enforcement issues. Because they aren't just "pets" they are our children..

    This is an absolute outrage, everyone that was involved needs to be punished to the full extent of the law for their insane actions. This is malicious and down right cruel. How dare these poor excuse for a human beings think that killing this dog was justified, idiots don't belong on the police force. Justice needs to be served. My heart goes out to the family and to the beloved dog.

I had a cell phone ever since I was in 8th grade. Not because my parents were rich and just wanted to spoil their kids, they gave us the phone because they worked all the time and, what do you expect, we wanted it for emergency reasons ;), right? Just like many of you, my first phone was Nokia and we would text, call and play snakes on it. We had to buy ringtones from third party that sounded really nothing like the song. Top 5 Favorite Rappers of PJ

I listen to everything from Rap, Rock, Jazz, Classicial, Blues, Punk, Pop, R&B, Dub Step, EDM and even Folk (No country or Heavy Metal, sorry). But, at the end of the day, my favorite have to be Hip Hop/ Rap. Why? because even though, so many so called music aficionados believe rap isn't really music, rap convey message using slang and code and it really fascinate me of how much creative a person can get.
