10 things I would tell myself if I can go in to time
Time travelling; final destination for a human kind. We talk about it, and we hope one day, we can actually do it. But what people don't realize is time is given people, in reality, there is no 24 hours in a day, it's non stopping train that keep going and going and going. By saying that, I'm trying to explain that time travelling is not possible, i mean at least in my life time it ain't because if it did happen, don't you think you already visited yourself? But let's pretend if we have one chance to go back to the past and tell yourself something something; what would you it be? This is my 10 things I will tell my past self from 7th to 12th grade.
1. Don't Smoke Cigarettes: Trust me people, even though I am a smoker, I hate smoking. Because now I know the affects of it and what it can really do to my body. But quitting is harder than starting and it almost drove me nuts when I tried to go cold turkey. So if I can tell 8th grade Paul, I'll tell him "Dude, don't smoke cigs, I don't care what other shit you smoke but not cigs.
2. Save money: If I put $50 every week in my savings, I would be good right now...
3. Study A. Hole: I lived my life like "there never be another moment like right now", but reality was tomorrow was going to be the same. Maybe, I wanted to act cool, but looking back, I could have done so much better and went to better college.
4. Pull your pants up: Yes, I was Hip Hop, gangster clothes wearing mofo in my jr.& high school days. If I could see myself, I would smack myself on the back of the head and tell me "Pull those pants up, stupid"
5. Join much club as you can: I don't care if it's Chess Club, Glee Club, Dance Club, Math Club (Well few of them probably reject me, but) Join much club as possible, at least you will have something to show for in Year Books.
6. Join a soccer team: This goes out to Paul in 10th grade. Yeah, you should have join the soccer team and tried to stay in shape. You got fat, boy. And you partied too hard.
7. Stop fighting:..................nvm, kick those F@#kers ass
8. Quantity over Quality: You know you should have. You know you could have. But you didn't. So go for everything that moves.
9. Be nice to your parents: Paul, when you get old you will start to understand better and better. Don't be a little spoiled guinea and be a good kid.
10. Bet on these: First, buy much Google stock you can possibly buy. Second, Find Mark Zuckerberg. Third, Bet on Steelers( Im sorry Hawks fans, it's just business). Fourth, Pitch an Idea to apple about iPhone & iPad.
You should be ok, then.
Even though, few things I can not change but I still have few that I can accomplish. Never too late to fix your wrongs people. You are never too old, not too busy, not so tired, not too broke, and not so lonely to rewrite your history. It's all within you to accomplish them.
