My ideal of president
This blog is not intent to used as presidential campaign nor trying to change someone else's opinion or choices. It's just one man's opinion, view, and hope.
With all the presidential campaign and presidential debate going on, you feel overwhelmed and confused to see who is better choice to guide us through next 4 years. We are still in great economical debt with other countries for what the formal president, George W. Bush (R), did. In 2008, US made an historical choice by electing a first African-American president who used the slogan such as "CHANGE" and "HOPE" to see if we can do both for the economy and hoping to put US back on the top. However, deficit was not a small amount where cancelling of few government programs weren't going to fix this issue. This debt margin is surely one of the greatest amount US ever had to face and try to get out of, but not many people understand that US has been on debt for many many years even before the time of George W. Bush; but, surely, he took it to another level. So, fear of having another Republican in the office was the idea most Americans were afraid of and hope someone "different" would work because things we thought would work didn't really work out as we planned. Maybe, it has more controversial ideal behind it, but Im not going to get into all of that. After listening (because I was at work) to the presidential debate, it seems more confusing and almost idiotic to see these two candidates to try to convince the Americans. Im sure, 95% of Americans whom are already registered to vote, already made up their mind about who they are going to vote and I know I already have. But shall we cover few things that were brought up?
Taxes: Obama is looking to increase the tax to 40% rather than 35% that Americans are paying at this moment. Now, that was the big and main issue Mitt Romney was trying to make. Mitt Romney wants to assure the Americans that Taxes won't be raised, but then again, if president believe he does not need to, indeed, raise the taxes, why would he? Because we are STILL IN RECESSION, PEOPLE.
Social Security: Y generation and any other generation already are known and aware that It would be almost impossible for us to see social security money when we are old, so in personal sense of it, I do not really care for this topic. And sadly, both of the candidates understand the situation and they do stand for each others views.
Health Care: Health care issues seems to been major debate topic these two candidates were trying to woo the Americans with. Mitt Romney favoring or seem to look good on it as he is trying to leave the health care system we are providing for elders, at this moment but Barack Obama on the other hand wish to start changing the Health Care policy affecting everyone one, even elders. This topic is a joke for me because I am one of 26% of Americans who does not have Health Insurance nor Health Care. This really makes me laugh with hate because we have such great technology and skills to provide the best Health care system to nation's citizens but why is health a business to these people?
Foreign Policy: I believe Obama really took a great roll on this. US IS NOT THE #1 NATION, ANYMORE. We need to play along with other countries and stop acting snobby with our noses in the air because we have the most weapons and control of many countries. Obama wish to try to export more rather than import more. I do understand the resource situations and I do understand that labor in other countries are lot cheaper than paying Americans the full price, but we need to make American products in our soil rather than giving the skills and tools to other countries for them to gain power.
Jobs: Yes, job market is still in tank and lot of Americans are blaming Obama for that. Understandable, he has been in the office for 4 years and we haven't really moved forward too much, but you can see that slightly the economy is picking up, jobs are getting created and thing are seems to get back in place slowly but surely. Obama wish to create 1 million manufacturing jobs by 2016, which means the end of his next term if he gets elected. Mitt Romney wish to create 12 million. The number of it would seem that Mitt Romney has better intentions than Obama does, but funny how Mitt Romney had all these companies and sold these companies and made a fortune when all the workers for his company became unemployed..so is that his idea? Create jobs that is not stable?
So there is the overview of the topic that was spoken during the debate. Oh and another thing, Obama wish to put money back in education system where Romney wish to put more money in military. Yeah, well, here is my insight.
For my ideal president, I wish that education system gets back to it's original state. Education is the most important thing to create better future for the nation. Are we really just going to let few selected elites/ legacy when the ideal of countries is republic and where all men are created equal and everyone has the voice to say what they believe in. We can not let few selected control this land...AGAIN. I believe Health care should be provided freely and universal. You would call me Socialist but why are you scared to change? There are many countries whom provide universal healthcare to it's citizens and still manage to be a great country (England, Korea, France, etc.). I believe country is great as the citizens they have and if the citizens are suffering with diseases, no education, no help from it's elected officials, how are we differ from any communist countries whom treat their citizens like shit? I don't ask for Utopia because idea of utopia is already an wrong idea, but pursuing that idea is the utopia itself. Strong middle class is the key to having great economy or great country and Bill Clinton did that, but the hole the nation is in, we need to try our best dig our self out of it. You can't ask the middle to low class to sacrifice because they don't have anything to sacrifice. I believe this is where elites or legacy of these country really need to stand up and STOP BEING SELFISH. You have the power but if you do not know that, then you are uneducated selfish idiot who thinks problem is not yours. Mitt Romney paid 16% of taxes last year....ARE YOU SERIOUS? If I could, I wish we do it like the medieval time and go "Off with the head" to all these rich people and share their wealth to the unfortunates. So my ideal presidential candidates who focuses on education, help with health care FEDERALLY, create jobs for unemployed people, and keep taxes in manageable amount. So there it is.
