Special: 10th anniversary of 9/11
Who can really forget the day? I remember it as it happened during this year but to think that it already been 10 years since the tragic event of 9/11 happened is abnormal. Lot of things had changed since the towers were fallen down and innocent people lost their lives in pentagon. That day, I woke to get ready for school like any other day, but when I got to school, that's when I saw the planes hitting the World Trade Center. It felt like I was watching a Hollywood movies; I just couldn't believe what I saw was actually happening. Friends and teachers were gathered around TV in the classroom and gasping as it was happening. Some crying with their heads down, some covering their mouth to stop the gasping, some look with expression of shock, some just couldn't bare the fact and headed home to be with their family. It hurts me to even remember the day when I was watching through the TV, but how would it felt to lose their love ones in that tragedy? I can't even bare that pain of losing a father, mother, brother, sister, husband, wife, cousin, or even a good friend but some has seen it through the TV. Many phone calls were made to try to reach their significant other.....................but it was too late. Now, many of us carries that pain with us everyday, but we wear this pain with honor and we wear this pain so we never forget what has happen to many Americans. Rest in Peace to all the people who lost their lives during the event and god will be with those who lost their love ones and god will give these people the strength to fight through the pain and find peace within. God Bless, America.
