Moto X:
Something about Motorola that I am always attracted to. However, after the introduction of iPhone and Android phones, Motorola was not going to survive. Luckly, Google bought out Motorola company and gave the company new chance to stay on mobile competition. But, they couldn't just come out with new phone, no; they had to create something new and different like how Motorola always do.
Released on August 2013, Moto X is flagship android phone brought to you by Motorola x Google. One main reason that this phone got my attention is because it was made and assembled in U.S.A. I am a big advocate of bringing industrial jobs back to our soil and Motorola started this. In present time, most of U.S products are made from China or other countries, so, the idea of making and assembling the phone in U.S means I am putting money back to our country and economy. But is that the only reason? oh no, im just getting started. Lets look at some specs.

Ok, Now we got some specs down, lets talk about things I really enjoy about this phone.
First, back side of the phone is curved, so it's a great fit in hand. Second, active display. What is active display? rather than having to turn on your phone to chack your message, text, or time; the phone use minimal power to keep the phone screen display of any new notification or time. So you can just shake your phone while it's on sleep mode and it will display those things. Third, shake - camera active. Rather than finding a button for it, or look for the app, you can shake your phone to activate your camera. It is very handy because how often do we miss things we want to capture because we couldn't turn the camera on fast enough? This eliminate that factor. Even though Camera isn't the best, the camera function itself is something new and I can definitely see others try to copy this. Fourth feature is "Ok, Google Now" voice search feature. It is Google's approach to iPhone's Siri. Moto X was first of Google's phone to try this and it works perfectly fine. 5th, Moto Connect. Moto Connect is a feature on your Google Chrome browser that links to your phone, so you can see all the text and phone calls that comes in on your computer. 6th Moto Migrate. It's a feature that let you easily migrate your old information to your new phone. 7th, 2 year free Google Drive storage. 50 GB space on Google Storage for free. 8th aspect is the price. Unfortunately I bought the phone when it just came out so I had to pay little extra, but at this moment, it should be free with 2 yr contract. 9th feature is the moto skip. well....this feature is more of wearable thing that let your device unlock without actually unlocking it on your phone. It's wearable sensor accessory. Really, not much of a feature at this moment, but it could be something promising for the future of Motorola. Last feature is Moto 360. Moto 360 is Motorola's take on Samsung smartwatch, so it is not necessary moto x feature but it something Motorola is building upon Moto X.
It's a great phone, and it's something I will stick with for few years.
It is one of the best.... i used it for years...
