Truth is depends on p.o.v
Have we not heard the phrase " beauty is eye of the beholder"? It's all in someone's point of view. I believe so many things makes a person, who they are. Starting from genetics to parents, hobbies, friends, interest, priorities, to your likes and dislikes; person is combination of so many things. So, of course, someones point of view is going to be different. You might understand the circumstance of situation by measuring it to your, personal, experience, but you won't ever understand the opposite, fully. Do you know that, in criminal case, witness are unreliable evidence? It means, even if you committed a crime and someone saw you doing it, but the physical evidence aren't there, you are eligible to be acquitted. Because the truth is really depends on P.O.V. Let's do a little test.
Test 1: Michael Vick was found guilty for fighting dogs and there were dead dogs in his compound. What's you take on it? Is he guilty of animal cruelty and deserved to be sent to jail or it's stupid case?
At this moment I hope you came up with your verdict.
Now, here is next question.
Test 2: Some guy was driving and he didn't see the red light and ran the light, but, unfortunately, he ran over the dog and dog died. Is he guilty of killing the dog?
I, surely, hope that you get what my intention was when I gave you those two tests.
If you are animal lover, both person should paid for the crime they committed. But if you find test 1 answer to be guilty and second test as not guilty then wouldn't that be bias standard? Because the situation was different, does that change the verdict? It's really upon your personal choice.
Some people might find something interesting when someone thinks that is weird or stupid, vice verse. The truth is really how the person perceives the idea and make sense in that person's way by relating to it's previous experience. Example; rap music, specifically gangster rap; a person from suburban area with good home and great family could never understand what the ghetto have to offer to normal people whom lives there. Poverty, drug use, crime rate; people might understand those circumstances but they can never understand the depth of these situations. One neighborhood, hearing gun shot is like hearing church bell ring in the morning at some other neighborhood. So truth of the story is really upon the person.
Best we can do is try to understand their point of view and ask the reason why that person would perceived such information is such way. That is the best and least we could do for others. Thou shall not judge because that is not your choice.
Test 3: What do you see? Comment and I will tell you the answer.
What a problem solving post that you have shared. It's very nice as you cleared the confusion of many people who are a big victim of complex. If anyone of those person read out this article, i'm sure he'll feel good at the end. CMS Customization
