Stop Police Brutality Against Pets

On July 9th 2011 in Renton,WA during a search for a wanted relative of her owner, Hazel Watkins-Park, a 1 year old red nose pitbull was detained by animal control on a choke noose as she barked and growled to protect her family. Any dog owner, being it a Pomeranian or a Lab will tell you if your door is kicked in and strange people come in with high, angry energy, your dog WILL bark and it WILL protect it's family. Well apparently the begging and pleading from Hazel's owners to let them put her in her kennel or another room wasn't enough for the Renton Police Department. While Hazel was still being detained in the already cruel noose, they shot her 7 times with a rifle. How is it that the police can come into YOUR house and shoot your pet???
